Partnerships

Since 1995, SES has been an active partner of Inmarsat, one of the world's largest communication organisations. Maintaining a vigorous interest in the importance of the communications sector, SES’ technical team attend Inmarsat conferences and other events on a regular basis. Moreover, SES software employ many Inmarsat systems, in turn allowing Inmarsat to gain valuable information from the perspective of a shipping software house.

Likewise, owing to its great and constant concern with maritime issues, SES has been an associate member of INTERTANKO since 1995, participating in the conferences, seminars and other events organised by this key maritime organisation. Mr. Achilles Vardakis, SES President & CEO, is a member of Intertanko's IT Committee, which deals with information technology issues affecting the shipping industry.
